The story of the Hotel Sirena begins between the 1950s and the 1970s, as Igea Marina grew into a seaside resort on the Romagna Riviera.
It was built by the Della Chiesa family, fishermen and sailors with deep ties to the Adriatic: to them the sea was a livelihood, a tradition and a way of life. That identity gave the hotel its name, Sirena — the mermaid — inspired by the sea, its legends and the Igea Marina
